Excellent news. It is nice to hear some good news when there is generally so much bad news in Maritime Preservation circles.

Sorry I havent been in contact recently, have kept meaning to, but I have had a little trouble blow up with my job at the moment where the housing market is so quiet.

In fact I have been made redundant as of Monday this week, but the company have now offered me another job in another office, but the location is as far away from where I live on the Isle of Wight as you can possibly get, so I am currently taking the job on trial to see how the extra travel goes. Although nowhere is far on the map on the Isle of Wight, Island miles are much more time consuming than mainland miles!!!

If it doesnt work out, its not really too much of a problem as I have other options (currently working part time on the water taxis in the River Medina as well anyway which is great fun).

Anyway, I digress. Its much better news to hear that things are moving forward, and I wish MQ and all the people involved the best of luck.

I must come and visit again somewhen, as watching your sucesses does inspire when things seem so impossible with Ryde at the moment.

Will look forward to hearing progress.
