Hello Everyone

Just been reading about the Southsea, very sad news indeed. I think we where all hoping someone would buy her from the scrap yard, it would have been closer to main land Europe for repiars etc. I understand people being angry at the yard, but they are only running a business, its not thier fault if not enough people in this country cared about her. I know some people did and worked on her voluntarily. I do feel sorry for them, thier efforts treated like this. It dose show though, as Mark has said before and others, that you have to get it clear who owns these vessels so you are not stung like the Southsea guys. We can only keep working to try and ensure that such a fate dose not happen to Ryde and Medway Queen, but this is a reminder if any were needed of what we are up against.
