Hello Mark,
Have not had much contact with you of recent? However has started a possible option for comments on www.paddleducks.co.uk that may be another means to get your story across, in the Preserved Ships Section ? This is a site for model making enthusiasts, but possible voices to our cause.
Sorry you are not having much progress in your project, until the government of the day really starts to take the interest that they should, so be it.
