We have an amazing and exciting opportunity to acquire and preserve the Paddle Steamer Ryde for our Nations future generations. Establising the vessel as a self-financing tourist attraction, will ensure her longevity and enable easy access for the pleasure an education of the public.

All of this however will be very costly - after the vessel has been secured and moved to a shipyard, in the order of £7 million will have to be raised for a full restoration.

We need your help to realise this project, and ask that you please give generously.

There are plenty of ways in which you can support us. Before we give you some ideas, please read the following about GIFT AID. It is such a simple way to nearly double the benefit of your donation.

Gift Aid

All donations, of any size, matter to us, and if you GIFT AID them we can draw an extra 28% income through HM Revenue and Customs. We can also gain increased funding through Matched Funding from bodies such as the Heritage Lottery Fund.

One GIFT AID form will ensure that all donations you make to us will attract this extra benefit.

Appeal For Missing Parts

There are a number of items over the years that have been removed from PS Ryde, and the more of these that can be recovered, the better. If you know of the wherebouts of anything that has been removed from the vessel, please get in contact with us.
